Two king bedrooms with comfortable beds, a full sleeper sofa, fully stocked kitchen, and a workspace by the door for the days you need it. Sleeps 6. Walk to dinner, theater, breweries, and the Cedar Lake LRT trail. Twenty minutes to downtown Minneapolis. Come rest. The entire second level is yours. Open-concept living with exposed brick walls, warm wood finishes, and wide plank floors throughout. Natural light that lets the space breathe. There’s a rooftop patio overlooking Mainstreet, sized for a slow morning or dinner for six. During Rize Realty’s business hours (about 9am–5pm), the patio is shared with the office downstairs. In the evenings, it’s private for your stay. The view: historic Hopkins Mainstreet from a better angle. Coffee in hand, Mainstreet humming below, sky open above. In Minnesota, outdoor space is the season’s whole point. We cover and store the furniture in winter, so summer and fall guests get the best of it. Two bedrooms with king beds and quality linens. One bathroom with a walk-in shower. A full sleeper sofa in the living room sleeps two more. The kitchen is fully stocked: an 86-inch oval dining table, banquette nook, four counter-height stools at the island, a chef's pantry of cookware, dishes, glassware, and the small things. Coffee, tea, and the good stuff are on the counter when you arrive. A small workspace at the entrance for the days you need to log in for a few hours. Fast wifi. A Frame TV in the living room. In-unit stacked washer and dryer. Soft towels stocked in abundance, because nobody likes running out. The building dates to 1900. Every detail of the restoration was considered. You'll feel it. You have the entire second level to yourself. Entry is through the street-level door on Mainstreet or the exterior staircase off the back. Your keypad code arrives the day before check-in and changes with every guest. Rize Realty runs a working real estate office on the floor below, usually about 9am–5pm on business days. During those hours, the rooftop patio is shared with the office. You may see people on the stairs or patio as they come and go for work. After hours, the patio is yours for the evening. Their office entry is separate from your unit door. The apartment itself stays private. Contactless check-in and check-out. We live nearby and are easy to reach through the Airbnb app. Hands-off until you need us, quick when you do. Downtown Hopkins is a historic Main Street community in the western Twin Cities. Mainstreet still acts like a real Main Street, lined with brick storefronts and historic mixed-use buildings, most dating to the late 1800s. You'll find family-owned restaurants, boutiques, multiple breweries, salons, and the Hopkins Center for the Arts, which books real shows year-round. The Cedar Lake LRT regional trail runs through the heart of the neighborhood, connecting Hopkins to downtown Minneapolis by bike. Downtown Minneapolis is twenty minutes east. Excelsior and Lake Minnetonka are fifteen minutes west. MSP airport is about twenty-five minutes by car. By car: Free street parking on Mainstreet / public lot one block over / reserved spot in back. Exact instructions go out before arrival. By light rail: The Downtown Hopkins station on the METRO Green Line Extension is a short walk away and opens in early 2027, with a direct line to downtown Minneapolis. Until then, downtown is twenty minutes by car. By bike: The Cedar Lake LRT regional trail runs through Hopkins and connects to the Minneapolis lakes and the Midtown Greenway. By rideshare: Uber and Lyft both serve Hopkins reliably. Five to fifteen minutes for pickup most of the day. This is a historic Mainstreet building above a working real estate office. We invested in soundproofing well beyond code, though some ambient Mainstreet sound comes through. Most guests say it's part of the charm. You’ll use stairs to reach the unit (no elevator). During office hours, you may pass people heading up or down the same stairs. That’s normal for this building. Exterior cameras at entry points for security. No interior cameras. Mainstreet hosts community events through the year. The Raspberry Festival in mid-July is the big one. Downtown Hopkins also runs a weekly summer farmers market and seasonal Mainstreet Days. We prepared this space with care. A few things to keep in mind. Guests Six guests maximum. Exceeding occupancy may result in immediate cancellation without refund. No unaccompanied minors or groups without at least one adult over 21. No parties or events. Registered guests only. Pets Unauthorized pets result in immediate cancellation and additional cleaning fees. Noise Quiet hours: 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Indoors and out. Smoking Smoke-free. No smoking, vaping, or e-cigarettes inside. $200 minimum cleaning fee applies. The Space Shoes off at the door. Furniture stays in place. Leave it as you found it. Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay, including the cost of repairs or replacements. We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage during your stay.   My daughters and I stayed here for a few weeks before we moved into our house, and it was an amazing home in between homes. The local farmers' market was a few steps away and always lovely. It was great for morning walks in the area as we explored the antique shops and grabbed a bite to eat. We were lucky to have beautiful weather to watch out the windows a few evenings after using the AMAZING kitchen to cook dinner.
