A beautiful 1920s cottage on 1.2 wooded acres on a quiet Arden Hills street, 15 minutes from Minneapolis and St. Paul. It feels a world away. Cared for by Luke and Beka. Cozy fireside sitting room, peaceful sunroom with a hanging swing, well-stocked kitchen with a coffee bar, and a glass-walled backyard studio. Hot tub and sauna open year-round. Comfortable beds and thoughtful touches. Sleeps 10. Built for friend trips, family weekends, and anyone who could use a good exhale. Come rest. The full cottage is yours. Main level: cozy fireside sitting area, writing desk, and living room with a sleeper sofa and Frame TV. The kitchen opens to a sunroom with wraparound benches and a hanging swing. Best seat in the house for morning coffee at sunrise. Coffee bar with a Nespresso machine and a full drawer of teas. A record player for slow evenings. Upstairs: four bedrooms (1 king, 2 queens, 2 twins) with comfortable beds, sound machines, and bedside chargers in every room. Full bath upstairs, second full bath on the main level. Treetop views from every window. Out back, the glass-walled studio hosts dinner parties, photoshoots, and quiet afternoons. Unheated, so best in warmer months. The hot tub and sauna sit just past the deck, open year-round. String lights on a timer for evenings outside. Full cottage access. Follow the driveway left through the trees. Keypad code arrives the day before check-in and changes with every guest. Garage is on the property but not accessible. Contactless check-in and check-out. We live nearby and are easy to reach through the Airbnb app. Hands-off until you need us, quick when you do. Located in the Royal Hills neighborhood of Arden Hills, the Heirloom Cottage is a short drive to several of Minnesota’s 10,000 lakes - Snail Lake and Vadnais Lake are a few of our favorites. Nearby is an abundance of nature and walkable trails, including Tamarack Nature Center, and downtown White Bear Lake. Nearby restaurants loved by the locals include Churchill Street Restaurant, The Scandinavian Bakery, Dunn Bros Coffee, Oliver’s, The Brick House, and Anchor Coffee (walkable to White Bear Lake and White Bear Lake downtown shopping area). We prepared this space with care. A few things to keep in mind. Guests Ten guests maximum. Exceeding occupancy may result in immediate cancellation without refund. No unaccompanied minors or groups without at least one adult over 21. No parties or events. Registered guests only. Pets Pets welcome with prior approval. Unauthorized pets result in immediate cancellation and additional cleaning fees. Noise Quiet hours: 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Indoors and out. Smoking Smoke-free. No smoking, vaping, or e-cigarettes inside. $200 minimum cleaning fee applies. The Space Shoes off at the door. Furniture stays in place. Leave it as you found it. Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay, including the cost of repairs or replacements. We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage during your stay. My daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter and I loved the place. My granddaughter chose the room with the day beds in it right away! The kitchen was very well equipped with what looked as very new equipment. You certainly love coffee. The coffee equipment was amazing. Thank you for the coffee. Loved how the kitchen utensils matched the cabinets. :-) We didn't even mind that there was no dishwasher. The place was so quiet and private. We felt like we were in the country in the city. The glass house was so neat and we did use the hot tub. Soooooo relaxing this was part of a very busy week, so I especially enjoyed basking in the hot tub. So many little extras that made it so nice, the usbc cables in each bedroom was a special perk. On a personal note I was the one who communicated with Luke. You were so responsive to my questions and requests. Thank you so much.

This is a beautiful private stay in the woods. You won't even know you are staying near other houses and you can barely hear the traffic from the highways when enjoying a morning coffee/tea in the little glass house in the woods. Hot tub and Sauna were placed in a location that made them truly feel private when in use. There is a short trail into the woods that goes to a glass house with a table and bench seats and a couple of chairs. Perfect for a quiet lunch/breakfast (there are no lights, so best during the daylight. The house is perfectly renovated with a modern look and feel, with still keeping the feel of an older house. Along with a sunroom on the 2nd floor. So it's a perfect place to be able to disconnect. With 3 bedrooms and an optional 2 twins in the sunroom and hide-a-bed in the living room. Gave us plenty of options to sleep. We will be making plans to come back.

Hosted my best friend’s 40th bday here and had a fabulous time. The house is nestled in a beautifully wooded property that feels very peaceful and serene. The outdoor space was a perfect place to congregate and we spent a lot of time out there. It is well situated for exploring the surrounding area and we loved visiting and running near/around all of the beautiful lakes. The house itself has been refurbished and they’ve done a very nice job. The kitchen has the basics but I’d supplement if you are big cookers. We didn’t use the sauna or hot tub because it was hot, but love that they were available.

We really enjoyed our stay. I feel like the photos and the communication are very clear. It is an older home with character (and as he states, it has some creaks). The location was perfect for going between Blaine and downtown. The setting is so private and wooded and yet you are close to everything. Every room has such attention to detail. The bedding and towels are lovely and each bedroom has a sound machine and multiple technology chargers ready to use. So many lovely sitting areas to choose from! It is a truly special property!

My family loved every minute we spent in this lovely, comfortable, private, little bit quirky old house. I'm a fan of old homes with character and this fit the bill. Luke was amazing to work with: checked in without being intrusive, responsive, polite, friendly. He even delivered some necessities well into the evening. It's a private, wooded oasis in the middle of the suburbs. Would definitely go again! Well done!
