Kit

Kit is built around sequences rather than campaigns: someone subscribes and a series of messages follows automatically over weeks. That model fits rental marketing unusually well.

The reason is timing. Somebody browsing a coastal cottage in January is not going to book in January, and the operator who is still politely present in April gets the booking. Doing that manually means remembering to follow up with strangers months later, which nobody does.

Connecting Kit lets those sequences be built and managed from real guest and enquiry data, so the follow-up runs whether or not anyone remembers it.

It suits operators with a genuine direct-booking effort — a website, a reason for people to subscribe, something worth saying more than twice a year. Below that, a sequence with nothing in it is worse than no sequence.

Once Kit is connected, ProhostAI works with your subscribers, sequences and broadcasts in plain language.

Kit connects through OAuth, so ProhostAI never sees your password.

1. Open ProhostAI and go to Settings → Connections.
2. Search for Kit and select Connect.
3. Sign in to Kit and approve the permissions.
4. Ask how a sequence is performing to confirm it works.

• Sequences only work if there is something worth saying. An empty sequence trains people to ignore you.
• Consent obligations apply as with any email marketing.
• Kit stays the system of record for subscribers, sequences and unsubscribes.
• Revoking ProhostAI in Kit’s settings ends access immediately.
